Guidelines and Policies for club members
1. By using North East Avalanches you are agreeing to all terms and conditions
2. Members will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of another persons privacy or otherwise in violation of any international or United States federal law.
3. Members will not post any copyrighted material, unless they own the copyright or have written consent of the copyright owner.
4. Spam, flooding, advertisement, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are forbidden on this forum.
5. There will be absolutely no club bashing on this site. The staff is aware that most of our members belong to one, if not more, other Avalanche sites. This site was specifically set up to be a gathering place for all North East Avalanche/EXT owners and enthusiasts. It is in no way meant to be a competing site. We will not tolerate any member making derogatory or defamatory remarks about another club regardless of that member’s affiliation.
6. The staff will be implementing a one strike policy. Any staff members who finds a club member to be in violation of the club guidelines will take a vote of staff members. If a majority vote of staff members find that club member in violation of the club guidelines that member will receive a warning from the staff. If that same member violates another guideline within the next 12 consecutive months will be banned from the site. Any member who has been banned from the site will be given the opportunity to appeal the staff’s decision within 7 days. All appeals must include the accused violation and the reason they feel they should not be banned.
7. The staff and owners of this site do not actively monitor all posts and are not responsible for the contents contained within.
8. Anyone who feels a post is objectionable is encouraged to contact a staff member.
